Mentoring Program

Together, the SSAI and SYIS have established a Mentoring Program to bring established scientists and young members of SYIS closer together, foster exchange and support, provide career advice, and offer personal mentorship.

Are you studying immunology in Switzerland and exploring your career options? Are you currently pursuing a PhD and unsure what comes next? Would you like some guidance in planning your career?

This year’s mentorship cycle will kick off at the SYIS Symposium on August 26 in Bellinzona, just before the SSAI Annual Congress. There, mentors and mentees will be matched according to their personal goals and will have the opportunity to start the discussion in person.

Travel Grants

SYIS members are eligible to apply for Travel Grants financed by the SSAI: It supports young investigators in Allergology and Immunology, as well as FAMH Trainees in Immunology, to present their data at national and international conferences and develop their careers.
